API 682 recommends use of orifice in the seal flush system solely, or in conjunction with a throat bushing and/or cyclone separator to

a) Limit the seal flush circulation rate to the seal,

b) Control the seal chamber pressure.

All orifices shall have a minimum bore of 3 mm (1/8 in). It also recommends use of multiple orifices, installed in series if more pressure drop is required than can be taken in a single 3 mm (1/8 in) orifice.

The orifices in series occupy more length. We have developed unique orifice as shown in figure. From single orifice entire requirement of pressure drop can be met.
